One of my friends have found this website called YouTube and the flow of his films at a monthly cost of YouTube. I am also thinking of joining YouTube, but I'm not sure if it is allowed to stream movies from this site in Canada

It is not legal ... and not against the law ..... they are aware of their non-legal. One way to demonstrate that they are aware that you pay for the service.
